Ceol
Mar cuid de Sult na Sollán, thosaigh dhá ghrúpa ceoil traidisiúnta - Sult agus Fonn Nua. Bíonn seisiún ceoil uair sa mhí sna Solláin, oíche dé hAoine go hiondúil Bíonn imeachtaí clainne againn ó ham go chéile chomh maith


Gaeilge

Ritheann Sult na Sollán cursaí deich seachtain de ranganna Gaeilge do dhaoine fásta sna Solláin le béim ar scileanna chomhrá. Bíonn ciorcal comhrá againn freisin gach Deardaoin & gach Satharn i Nás na Ríogh. Eagraíonn muid turas clainne uair sa cheathrú tri mheán na Gaeilge chomh maith.



Féile na Sollán

Bíonn féile deireadh seachtaine againn i Mi Deireadh Fómhair sna Solláin le gach gné dár gcultúr traisiúnta a chéiliúradh. Bíonn imeachtaí ann do dhaoine óga, seisiúin ceoil, imeachtai cheoil, ceardlann cultúrtha, ceolchoirm, comórtais scoile agus go leor leor eile. Tuilleadh eolais : www.feilenasollan.com




Sult na Sollán is a community group that was set up in Sallins (Na Solláin) in 2009 to promote the Irish language, and traditional Irish music and culture in Sallins, North Co. Kildare

Music
As part of Sult na Sollán, two Irish taditional groups came to the fore - Sult agus Fonn Nua. There are monthly trad sessions in Sallins, usually on a Friday night. We also run family events from time to time. All details will be posted here.


Irish Language

Twice a year Sult na Sollán run a ten week long Irish language courses for adults in Sallins with an emphasis on conversational skills. We also host two ciorcal chomrá or conversation groups every Thursday evening & every Saturday morning i Nás na Ríogh (Naas). We also organise an Irish language family trip once a quarter.


Féile na Sollán / Sallins TradFest
Each October, we run a weekend cultural festival in Sallins, celebrating all aspects of our traditional culture. There are events for children, trad sessions, music events,  cultural workshops, a concert, school competitions, and more!
