We are a community group – open to every age and for every ability level. We emphasis inclusiveness, participation and enjoyment in all of our events.

Sult na Sollán has continuously developed since its inception in 2009 and we now run a busy programme of events each year – regular trad sessions, singing sessions, Irish language classes for adults, a weekly Bricfeasta as Gaeilge, occasional Pop-Up Gaeltacht events and parent/toddlers events. We also have a youth Irish trad music group call ed Sult Óg and a slow session trad group called Spraoi. We run quarterly Irish language group tours to places of interest, run special events such as Pilates as Gaeilge and Culture Night and also we run host two busy festivals each year ; Seachtain na Gaeilge (March) and Féile na Sollán (Oct).
We’re also looking to the future. We’re working on a five-year plan for the Irish language which we will publish early in 2019. We have been building relationships with state agencies and are developing new partnerships with local and national groups. We’re active in exploring new opportunities for our community and we are looking at new funding sources to allow sustainable growth so that we can explore new types of events and projects in the community.
We are very excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead. Bigí linn – Join us – Get involved.
